Your clients might hire you for photography, coaching, design, consulting, strategy, or another service. But that doesn’t mean the deliverable is the only thing they’re buying. In this episode, Nata sits down with Tom Gregory, founder of Soda City Pinup, to talk about the deeper transformation that can happen when a service changes the way someone sees themselves. Tom specializes in pinup photography, but his work goes far beyond creating beautiful photographs. His sessions are designed around confidence, identity, autonomy, and giving clients the space to decide how they want to be seen. One of the first questions he asks is simple: **What do you want to feel when you look at your pictures?** That question opens up a much bigger conversation about service businesses. Because whether you’re a photographer, coach, consultant, designer, or creative professional, there’s probably an emotional outcome attached to the work you do. Your clients may walk away feeling more capable, more confident, more understood, more legitimate, or more willing to take up space. Tom and Nata also talk about the other side of confidence: the confidence required to actually run the business. Tom shares what it was like to confront his own beliefs around self-worth, raise his prices, stop minimizing his expertise, and discover that people were willing to pay more once he was willing to own the value of his work. Inside the episode, they discuss: - Why confidence can be part of your client experience - The emotional transformation hiding inside a service - Creating boundaries and choice that allow clients to feel safe - Learning to trust your expertise - The connection between self-worth and pricing - Why competitor comparison is usually a giant waste of your time - Authenticity, visibility, and becoming less controlled by other people’s opinions Tom also shares the story behind his free book, *The Art of Being Seen*, and the lesson he hopes his daughter carries with her as she grows up: she does not need someone else’s permission or approval to become fully herself.
